RACE DEBRIEF

Max Verstappen led the way in the second practice session at this weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix, topping the timesheets ahead of the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz – who crashed out towards the end of FP2.

Late in his qualifying simulation runs, Verstappen set a time of 1m 12.462s on the soft tyre, to lead home favourite, Leclerc, in second, by just 0.065s, followed by FP1 timesheet topper, Sainz, in third.
